Bookstore Guidelines

How to Order

You can order by mail. Please provide the following information:

  1. A complete Bill-To Address and Ship-To Address
  2. Purchase Order Number (if you are using a purchase order)
  3. A 10 digit ISBN or Flat World Knowledge ISBN equivalent (for derivative works) for the books you wish to order
  4. Quantity of texts to be shipped (please specify how many four-color versions versus black and white versions you wish to have shipped)
  5. First Author's Name and Title of Book
  6. The name of the Instructor(s) who will be using the book
  7. Preferred Method of Shipment--standard, two-day, or overnight (or your own shipping information if you wish to use your own shipping carrier).

Discounts

We do not offer additional discounts on our products at this time.

Returns Policy

We accept returns from bookstores under the following conditions:

Damaged titles

Titles damaged in transit by the carrier must be reported immediately to Flat World Knowledge so a claim can be filed and a replacement order can be sent. Call 1.877.257.9243 ext. 103.

Manufacturing Fee

Our books are printed on-demand. We print specifically to fulfill an order when received. As such, we will accept all returns within six months of the invoice date for those titles, but a print-on-demand fee of $7 per black and white book, and $25 per color book will apply for each returned title.

Freight charges

Returns freight charges are the customer's responsibility.

New Condition

Books returned must be in new condition. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the book(s) shows evidence of use.
